PGA DFS Review: The 2018 Masters
Welcome to Masters Wednesday everyone! Today was the Par 3 contest complete with hole-in-ones and rolled ankles. As they say, it is a tradition unlike any other. We have a healthy Tiger back so anywhere and everywhere you get your gold knowledge, you will hear about Tiger this week.
Going to break it down a little different this week. Going to give you two higher priced guys and two lower priced guys. Not necessarily a "Core Four", but more so a guide to help build a core.
First off, we have Jordan Spieth. Form is there, price is at 10.4k on DraftKings and you cannot argue his course history there. He is still losing strokes on the green when putting, but tee to green (T2G) he is gaining strokes every weekend.
Next guy we have is a little off the board for the "chalk" of the week, and that is Adam Scott. Scott has won here before and has some strong finishes besides that one win here. Gaining around 3 shots T2G over the past five tournaments, his recent form is good so that checks another box for the week for me. Also, the price at 8k doesn't hurt either.
Moving into the lower price guys, we are going with Russell Henley. Henley has form and momentum coming off a low round on Sunday in Houston. Henley has been trending up every year he has played here at Augusta. He is a solid T-20 bet and provides great value at 7.1k. Last week, Henley gained 3.7 strokes T2G and three strokes on the greens when putting.
The final golfer we'll be going with this week is Bryson DeChambeau. he is a par-five scoring machine and that's where 40% of the scoring happens on this course. His last time out at the Arnold Palmer, he gained over 11 strokes T2G and nearly 8 strokes on his approach. He is someone that shows up regardless of what model I run this week. I am looking for another T-20 here as well, and he only costs 6.9k.
Good luck and enjoy the tournament!
